Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement sales strategies for pumps and system solutions across target industries
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
Set and achieve sales targets aligned with company objectives
Business Development
Identify and acquire new clients for industrial pumps (centrifugal, diaphragm, positive displacement, etc.)
Conduct technical sales meetings, product presentations, and proposal submissions
Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue and profitability goals
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, distributors, and channel partners
Act as the primary point of contact for pump-related technical and commercial discussions
Coordinate with engineering teams to deliver customized solutions
Product & Market Expertise
Maintain in-depth knowledge of pump technologies, applications, and industry standards
Stay updated on regulatory requirements and technological advancements
Team Leadership & Training
Lead, mentor, and guide the sales team (where applicable)
Conduct product and sales training to enhance team performance
Sales Reporting & Forecasting
Track sales performance, prepare reports, and generate forecasts
Monitor pipelines and adjust strategies to meet annual targets
Project Coordination
Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure timely execution
Ensure smooth post-sale handover and resolve customer concerns effectively
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Process Engineering or related field (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred)
Experience:
8-10 years in sales or business development within the
industrial pumps & systems
sector
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of pumps, systems, and fluid dynamics
Sales Expertise:
Proven B2B sales success in industrial equipment or manufacturing
Negotiation & Communication:
Strong deal-closing and stakeholder management skills
CRM Knowledge:
Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Travel:
Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and industry events
