Job Description

Role Title: Finance and Accounts Manager
Type: Full-Time Location: On-site, Mumbai
Seeking a detail-driven and proactive Finance & Accounts Manager to join us during an exciting phase of strategic growth. This role will oversee the company's financial operations - from bookkeeping and compliance to reporting and payroll and help streamline our systems as we bring accounting processes in-house.
We work 6 days (including Saturdays) a week, with 8 hours shifts per day starting at 9 AM till 6 PM (1 hour lunch break).
Key Responsibilities
? Manage accounts receivable - invoicing, credit control, and reconciliation.
? Manage accounts payable - ensure timely and accurate vendor payments.
? Oversee monthly payroll processing and salary disbursements.
? Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, budgeting, and cash flow reports.
? Handle tax planning and compliance, including GST returns and TDS obligations.
? Maintain data accuracy across all accounting systems and platforms.
? Track expenses, perform regular bank reconciliations, and provide analytical financial insights.
? Support management in key financial decision-making and business improvement initiatives as well as admin activities with invoices.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
? 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role/ health and fitness space with up to 7 years of overall experience.
? Bachelor's degree in Finance/ Accounting is mandatory and Certification in Accounting/ Finance is preferred.
? Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
? Strong understanding of Indian tax regulations (TDS, GST, etc.).
? Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) and Tally.
? Skilled in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Xero.
? Ability to interpret and prepare key financial reports.
? Experience in payroll processing, tax submissions, financial reporting and invoice management.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
? Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
? Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and confidentiality.
? Proactive, trustworthy, and adaptable to change.
