We are pleased to inform you of the following opportunity for Event/ Activations Head with an activations/ experiential marketing agency in Delhi.
EVENT/ ACTIVATIONS HEAD (DELHI) :-
Role Overview :-
The Event & Activation Head will be responsible for leading the planning, strategy, and execution of all events and brand activations across regions. This role involves driving creative concepts, client relationships, operational excellence, and team performance to deliver impactful experiential marketing campaigns that strengthen brand presence and drive business results.
Key Responsibilities :-
1. Strategy & Planning :-
Develop and implement annual event and activation strategies aligned with overall brand and business objectives.
Identify opportunities for experiential marketing and partnerships to enhance brand visibility.
Create and manage event calendars, budgets, and timelines.
2. Client Servicing & Business Development :-
Lead client interactions to understand briefs, objectives, and expectations.
Develop proposals, pitch presentations, and activation concepts with strategic and creative inputs.
Drive new business opportunities through networking, partnerships, and upselling existing clients.
3. Project Execution :-
Oversee the end-to-end execution of events and activations - from concept to delivery.
Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, timelines, and budgets.
Supervise vendor selection, negotiations, logistics, and on-ground management.
Ensure flawless execution and client satisfaction through detailed pre-event planning and strong contingency management.
4. Team Leadership :-
Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of event managers, client servicing executives, and operations staff.
Allocate projects and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery.
Conduct performance reviews and skill development initiatives for the team.
5. Financial Management :-
Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and P&L reports for all events.
Ensure optimum utilization of resources and profitability for every project.
Track project margins and identify opportunities for cost efficiency.
6. Vendor & Partner Management :-
Build and maintain strong relationships with production houses, creative agencies, suppliers, and venue partners.
Ensure quality and consistency across vendors and activation partners.
7. Reporting & Analysis :-
Measure campaign effectiveness through post-event reports and client feedback.
Analyze ROI and recommend process improvements for future activations.
Key Skills & Competencies :-
Strong understanding of BTL, experiential marketing, and on-ground activations.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent client communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Creativity in concept ideation and strategic problem-solving.
Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and vendor management.
Attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure.
Qualifications & Experience :-
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, or related field.
10 15 years of experience in events, activations, or experiential marketing (agency background preferred).
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale projects and managing diverse teams.
Exposure to pan-India activations, rural marketing, corporate events, and brand launches will be an advantage.
