We have an opportunity for Business Development - Events role (designation open to discuss) with an experiential marketing agency in Mumbai.

About the Role :-
We re looking for a dynamic and well-connected Business Development professional to drive growth for our experiential marketing vertical. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of brand activations, events, and integrated experiential campaigns, along with a network of clients and brand decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities :-
1. Business Acquisition & Client Relationships :-
Identify, pursue, and acquire new business opportunities across categories FMCG, Auto, Lifestyle, Luxury, Technology, etc.
Generate leads and pitch experiential marketing solutions (events, activations, digital integrations, etc.).
Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a strategic partner for their brand experience needs.
Work closely with internal strategy, creative, and production teams to deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
2. Strategy & Proposal Development :-
Understand client briefs and translate them into actionable, innovative experiential ideas.
Collaborate with creative and operations teams to prepare customized pitch decks and costings.
Present ideas and proposals confidently to senior brand stakeholders.
3. Revenue & Market Growth :-
Achieve quarterly and annual business development targets.
Map industry trends and competitor activity to identify new revenue opportunities.
Contribute to agency positioning and market visibility through networking and industry forums.
4. Client Servicing & Project Handover :-
Ensure seamless transition of acquired projects to the client servicing and execution teams.
Oversee delivery timelines, budgeting, and client satisfaction on key accounts.
Key Skills & Attributes :-
Strong network and understanding of the events/activation industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing large mandates.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Creative thinker with the ability to connect brand objectives with experiential ideas.
Strong understanding of on-ground activations, IPs, corporate events, and digital amplification.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Experience :-
Prior experience in leading event agencies
Hands-on exposure to brand activations, large-format events, and corporate experiences.
