Are you a highly driven, results-oriented individual passionate about health and sales? Join Open Secret as an Institutional Sales Intern and be the frontline force responsible for closing deals with key B2B clients across India. This role focuses heavily on lead qualification, cold calling, pitching, and negotiating with high-volume institutional buyers like airlines, hotels, and corporate gifting companies.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
High-Volume Cold Calling & Outreach:
Execute 40-50 targeted cold calls and emails daily to the provided target list (Vending, Airlines, Corporate Gifting, etc.).
Qualify leads by identifying the right decision-makers (Procurement Heads, HR Managers, F&B Directors) and understanding their institutional snacking/gifting needs.
Sales Pitch & Negotiation:
Master the Open Secret product portfolio and value proposition (Healthy, Unjunked, High Protein, Zero Maida) to deliver compelling sales pitches.
Prepare customized proposals and quotations for bulk and corporate orders.
Negotiate terms and manage the full sales cycle to secure and close small-to-mid-size institutional deals under supervision.
Market Research & CRM Management:
Conduct targeted market intelligence to refine the existing lead list and discover new opportunities (e.g., upcoming corporate events, new flight routes, etc.).
Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records of all client interactions, sales progress, and deal status in the CRM system.
Sales Support & Reporting:
Assist the Head of Institutional Sales with preparing presentations, sales reports, and weekly performance dashboards to track sales targets.
What We're Looking For
Target-Driven Attitude: A strong desire to meet and exceed daily/weekly sales and call targets.
Exceptional Communication: Fluent in English and/or major regional languages, with excellent phone etiquette and persuasion skills.
Resilience & Positivity: The ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain a positive, energetic approach to sales.
Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
FMCG Interest: A keen interest in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and the growing Healthy Snacking industry.
Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with MS Excel/Google Sheets and working with a CRM tool (like HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
