About the Job

We are seeking an experienced

Embedded Systems Engineer

with deep expertise in

BMC firmware development

and

Linux internals

. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining

OpenBMC-based firmware

, customizing

Linux kernel

and

U-Boot

for embedded platforms, and implementing robust

device drivers

and

IPC mechanisms

to ensure efficient system communication. You will also lead

board bring-up activities

, perform

hardware debugging

, and integrate industry-standard management protocols such as

IPMI

and

Redfish

.

Your Role

Develop and maintain

BMC firmware

using

OpenBMC

and

Yocto build systems

. Customize

Linux kernel

and

U-Boot bootloader

for embedded platforms. Design and implement

device drivers

and

IPC mechanisms

. Perform

board bring-up

,

hardware debugging

, and peripheral validation. Integrate and support

IPMI

and

Redfish

management protocols. Collaborate with hardware/software teams for seamless system integration. Develop

Linux user-space applications

for system control.

Your Profile

Primary Skills:

OpenBMC architecture and development Linux kernel and device driver development U-Boot bootloader customization IPC mechanisms in Linux Board bring-up and hardware debugging IPMI stack: SDR, SEL, FRU, SOL, IPMB, KCS, KVM Redfish protocol implementation

Secondary Skills:

Linux application development (

C/C++, shell scripting

) Familiarity with
