Job Description

The OPD Sister is responsible for supervising and coordinating nursing activities within the outpatient department. She ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, manages nursing staff, maintains proper documentation, and ensures smooth functioning of the OPD in accordance with diagnostics policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day nursing activities in the OPD. Monitor patient flow and assist in minimizing waiting time and improving patient experience. Coordinate with doctors, administrative staff, and other departments for effective patient care. Ensure all nursing procedures are performed in compliance with medical protocols and standards. Maintain hygiene, infection control practices, and patient safety measures. Oversee the maintenance of equipment and inventory in the OPD. Handle patient and family queries with empathy and professionalism.
