Position Title: OPD Coordinator



Reports To: Hospital Administrator



Job Summary



The OPD Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and patient-centered operations in the Outpatient Department. This role oversees patient flow, appointment scheduling, coordination between doctors and staff, and maintenance of OPD records while ensuring high standards of service and compliance with hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist and guide patients with registration, appointments, and inquiries. Manage patient flow and reduce waiting times. Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and support staff. Maintain OPD schedules, records, and reports. Ensure cleanliness, readiness of consultation rooms, and adequate supplies. Handle patient concerns professionally and support customer service. Follow hospital policies, safety, and infection control protocols.

Experience



1-3 years of experience in hospital OPD management.

Skills



Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Customer-service oriented attitude. Ability to handle pressure and solve problems effectively. Basic computer literacy (MS Office, hospital software).
