Job Summary

The OPD Consultant Ophthalmologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services in the outpatient department. This includes diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, performing clinical examinations, advising treatment plans, and ensuring high standards of patient care and ethical medical practice.

Key Responsibilities

Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with ophthalmic conditions in the OPD. Prescribe medications, spectacles, contact lenses, and non-surgical treatment plans. Identify cases requiring surgical intervention and appropriately counsel and refer patients. Maintain accurate, clear, and timely medical records and documentation. Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, clinical guidelines, and ethical standards. Handle patient queries and concerns professionally to ensure a positive patient experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

MS/DNB/DOMS in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution. Valid Medical Council registration (NMC/State Medical Council). No Minimum years of experience in ophthalmology OPD practice preferred/ Freshers Welcome Good communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to patient-centered care and quality outcomes.
