Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced

Opcenter Discrete Developer / Expert with a deep understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and hands-on experience with OPC (OLE for Process Control).

The ideal candidate will have successfully led and supported MES implementations and rollouts across multiple manufacturing plants. This role involves solution development, integration, deployment, and ongoing support in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and configure solutions using Siemens Opcenter Discrete MES. Integrate MES with shop floor systems and automation layers using OPC UA/DA protocols. Lead and support multi-plant MES rollouts, ensuring alignment with operational and business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, automation, and IT. Provide post-deployment support, issue resolution, and system optimization. Document technical specifications, configurations, and support procedures. Ensure system reliability, scalability, and compliance with manufacturing standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in MES development and deployment. Strong expertise in Siemens Opcenter Discrete and OPC integration. Proven track record of successful MES rollouts across multiple manufacturing sites. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations. Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and system integration. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Must have a valid passport; business visa to Europe (Denmark) is preferred. Ready to travel as required. Strong communication skills for client interaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IIoT, and digital manufacturing initiatives. Knowledge of IT/OT integration and cybersecurity in industrial environments.
