Latched Creative Inc. is a Digital Marketing Agency based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, specializing in done-for-you Search Engine Optimization campaigns for SMBs in Canada and the United States.Latched is looking to bring on a full-time contract based On-Page SEO Specialist. In this role, our desired candidate will work along side the CMO and SEO Manager to assist with daily tasks relating to On-Page SEO and Web Admin tasks.Daily duties will include:

• Assisting the CMO with various SEO tasks for clients
• Assisting in day-to-day tasks to assist the SEO Manager
• Blog publishing and blog content optimization prior to publishing
• Implementing SEO elements onto blog posts, including Schema Markup, tables, and other various items
• The creation of content briefs to be handed off to content writers
• On-Page SEO best practices, including optimizing title tags, meta descriptions, implementing various plugins to improve site speed, and providing guidance and SEO knowledge to other team members
• Keyword research and content hub strategy
• Experience with the following CMS platforms: Wordpress/WooCommerce, Shopify, Hubspot
• Topical content research & recommendations for writers
• Fluent written and spoken English

• Available to work around our business hours (Pacific Time)

Preferred qualifications for this role:

• HTML creation
• Experience using Ahrefs and Surfer SEO platforms
• Experience using the Jira project management tool
• Prior work experience in an agency setting
