Job Summary

An Online Production Merchandiser / Online Retail Merchandiser is responsible for coordinating garment production and managing the end-to-end online presentation and sales of clothing and ethnic wear across e-commerce platforms. The role ensures timely production, quality control, accurate product listings, and effective online merchandising on platforms such as

Shopify, Myntra, Amazon, and other marketplaces

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with designers, vendors, and factories for garment production and timelines Follow up on sampling, approvals, bulk production, and dispatch schedules Source fabrics, trims, and accessories for clothing and ethnic wear collections Ensure quality standards, measurements, and finishing before shipment Manage product listings on online platforms (Shopify, Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) Create and maintain accurate product descriptions, size charts, pricing, and images Coordinate photoshoots and ensure correct styling for online display Monitor inventory levels and update stock availability across platforms Support online marketing activities such as product launches, promotions, and festive sales Track sales performance, best sellers, and slow-moving styles to optimize listings Coordinate with digital marketing and catalog teams to improve product visibility Manage vendor communication, costing sheets, purchase orders, and documentation
Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of garment production and ethnic wear construction Experience working with e-commerce platforms such as

Shopify, Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart

Understanding of online merchandising, cataloging, and digital product presentation Knowledge of fabrics, embroidery, and traditional ethnic techniques Proficiency in MS Excel and basic inventory/merchandising tools Excellent coordination, communication, and time management skills High attention to detail and quality control
