Remote Music Teacher - Carnatic Vocal, Violin, Keyboard/Piano

Early Morning U.S. Shift 2:30 am- 7:30 am (IST)

Position Overview

We are seeking passionate and experienced music educators to join our remote teaching team. The ideal candidates will specialize in one or more of the following areas:

Carnatic Vocal

Violin

Keyboard/Piano

Instructors will conduct virtual lessons during early morning U.S. hours, aligning with evening times in India, to accommodate our diverse student base.

Key Responsibilities

Lesson Planning:

Develop and deliver structured, engaging, and personalized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and proficiency levels.

Instruction:

Teach students of varying ages and skill levels, focusing on technique, theory, and repertoire.

Assessment:

Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their musical growth.

Performance Preparation:

Prepare students for recitals, examinations, and other performance opportunities.

Communication:

Maintain regular communication with students and, when applicable, their guardians, to discuss progress and address any concerns.

Professional Development:

Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and musical trends to enhance instructional quality.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Music or equivalent certification in the respective instrument or vocal discipline.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably in an online setting.

Technical Proficiency:

Comfortable using virtual teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Skype) and digital resources for instruction.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Availability:

Must be available to teach during early morning U.S. hours (evening IST).

Equipment:

Reliable internet connection, high-quality webcam, microphone, and necessary musical instruments.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications:

Additional certifications in music education or pedagogy.

Multilingual Abilities:

Proficiency in multiple languages to cater to a diverse student population.

Performance Experience:

Active performance history in respective musical disciplines.
