Key Responsibilities:
Conduct live online Japanese language lessons via video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Skype, Google Meet).
Teach students of varying skill levels (beginner to advanced), tailoring lessons to individual goals and learning styles.
Develop or customize lesson plans, materials, and exercises to reinforce learning.
Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and regular feedback.
Provide cultural insights and context to support language acquisition.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
Communicate regularly with students (or parents, if applicable) regarding progress and areas of improvement.
Stay current on best practices in language instruction and online education.
Requirements:
Fluency in Japanese
(native or near-native level).
Proficiency in English (or another instruction language, if applicable).
Previous teaching or tutoring experience, preferably in Japanese language instruction.
Familiarity with JLPT levels and curriculum (N5-N1).
Ability to teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Comfortable using digital teaching tools and online platforms.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
A quiet, professional remote teaching environment with reliable internet connection.
