Job Description

Event Setup & Configuration:

Create, configure, and publish event listings on platforms (e.g., Eventbrite, Ticketmaster, or proprietary sites), including setting up ticket types, price tiers, and venue maps.

Inventory & Price Management:

Monitor ticket inventory, implement "early bird" discounts, and manage, change, or release ticket holds to optimize revenue.

Digital Marketing Support:

Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events via social media (reels/stories), email campaigns, and targeted ads.

Customer Support & CRM:

Respond to attendee inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding bookings, refunds, and cancellations.

Reporting & Analytics:

Track key metrics, including sales trends, conversion rates, and ticket velocity (speed of sales), to report to management.

System Maintenance:

Ensure the ticketing platform is secure and functional, conducting testing to prevent glitches.
Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Hospitality preferred.

Experience:

0-2 years of experience in sales, customer support, or event management.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, reporting) and experience with online ticketing software (e.g., Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, TicketSource).

Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for handling customer service inquiries.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail, ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced environments, and familiarity with social media marketing.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Percentage of total event capacity sold. Revenue generated per channel. Customer satisfaction score (CSAT). Reduction in booking errors or invalid ticket issues.
Examples of Typical Daily Tasks

Configuring QR code scanning for digital check-ins. Setting up "scarcity" alerts (e.g., "Only 5 tickets left") to drive last-minute sales. Reconciling daily online transaction reports. Re-engaging customers through abandoned cart emails.
