Online Application Engineer (m/f/d) - Automotive Power Products

What to expect

distributor FAE community support and private ticketing, to enable the successful design-in of Renesas Automotive Power products.

Job description

In your new role you will:

• Provide first-level online technical support to enable design-in of Automotive Power products
• Be an expert of Renesas Automotive Power products including key technologies, IPs, tools and software environment
• Feedback common issues / requests into the product line as requirements for improvements /additions in documentation and /or SDK / reference design deliverables.
• Provide a fast turnaround to email questions from distributor FAE.
• Debug customers issues in a timely manner: replicating issues and where appropriate coordinating response with the local teams WW.
• Commercially minded with ability to work both autonomously and as key team member.
• Feedback on development of the forum/online support platform.
• Help manage / drive the online community.

Your Profile

You actively listen to your business partners and enjoy building trustful relationships. You set yourself ambitious goals, make use of the knowledge of your team members and share your know-how. Furthermore, you keep profitability in mind and are able to prioritize your technical activities from a commercial point of view.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field of studies
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience, preferrable in Automotive environment
• Minimum 3 years experience in Automotive Power products design
• Practical experience in thermal or EMC design, layout and simulations
• Working experience at FAE/AE system application area preferred
• Proven experience in customer support tools like JIRA, JSM, web-based forums
• Understand customer system technical requirements and propose optimized products and solutions
• Motivated to initiate and drive projects to completion
• Good communication skill in technical discussion
• Fluent English communication skills
