Treatment administration and monitoring:
Administer and supervise the administration of treatments. Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Team collaboration:
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, radiation oncologists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
Patient and family support:
Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment options, and potential side effects. Provide emotional support and guidance throughout the cancer journey.
Documentation and record-keeping:
Maintain accurate and timely medical records of patient information, treatment plans, and progress.
Professional development:
Stay current with the latest advancements in cancer research and treatment through continuing education and participation in clinical meetings and tumor boards.
