The Operations & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting onboarding, compliance, and documentation processes for a high-volume workforce. This individual will serve as the primary local representative for HR and payroll support, ensuring all paperwork, verifications, and support tasks are handled promptly and professionally. The role requires strong organizational skills, discretion, reliability, and the ability to represent the company in a professional, customer-facing capacity.
Key Responsibilities-
Conduct in-person employment verifications and handle all required onboarding paperwork in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
Serve as the primary local point of contact for employees and HR/payroll support needs.
Coordinate the collection, scanning, and secure handling of required forms and supporting documents.
Assist with the distribution and collection of payroll-related paperwork, checks, or other physical materials as required by company leadership.
Attend meetings, presentations, and events as the companys local representative.
Resolve escalated support issues, including onboarding, payroll, and documentation queries.
Maintain accurate records and logs of all documentation, verifications, and interactions.
Support audits and reporting requirements by organizing and providing necessary documentation.
Collaborate with company leadership and remote teams to ensure seamless service delivery and issue escalation.
Perform other administrative or support duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in human resources, staffing, payroll administration, office coordination, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency with HR/payroll software, Microsoft Office Suite, digital forms, and scanning tools.
Ability to work independently and respond flexibly to urgent needs or changing priorities.
Availability to travel within the Houston area as needed for in-person verifications or meetings.
Positive, service-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting high-volume onboarding environments.
Prior experience in HR, staffing, or payroll administration.
Familiarity with employment verification requirements and compliance standards.
