Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. : As Onboard Service Engineer within the ICS Product Support team, it will be your responsibility to ensure the connected assets of our onboarded customers are reporting and the reported data are correctly showing up on Customer interfaces like Health Equipment Insights, VIMS Converter/ Forwarder etc. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: . Accountability: ICS Onboard Service Engineering for all Digital Applications. . Troubleshoot Onboard Connectivity & Data Quality. Carry out Connectivity issue identification from Onboard & offboard standpoint use of available remote troubleshoot tools & work with other teams in the Data life cycle like Infrastructure, Platform, Gateway teams etc. . Identify, investigate and obtain resolution commitments for known quality issues & responsible for Log analysis for troubleshooting. . Keep abreast of product performance in assigned area of responsibility. Work with Engineering team as needed for performance analysis of products and Enhancements. . Statistical analyses of the issues and some machine patterns. Data analysis support for Digital Applications. . Perform worldwide Field Follow validations. . Develop knowledge bases and FAQs. . Create & update Alerts/ Monitoring Dashboard of Products to proactively address Failures. . Ability to prepare Dashboard/ Support Tools/ Adhoc reports and provide visibility of the management on product performance. . Establish and maintain good rapport with dealers, Customers and related department personnel within the organization. Minimum Requirements . BS degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Science or related field . Minimum of 3 years in the Caterpillar Machines Product Support, Caterpillar Onboard Telematics/ VIMS space, Telematics Connectivity space. . Experience in Caterpillar Telematics products, VIMS, Onboard MineStar, PLEM teams, TPMS, Cat Productivity, Remote Services, PSPS, FPS, Cat ET, Remote troubleshooting, Remote flash & Trimble Connectivity Onboard Systems will be preferred. . To have an end to end understanding of the application under vicinity from both technical and functional perspectives. . Proven capability as an individual contributor in the Onboard Telematics space. Desired Requirements 6 years in the Telematics/ VIMS space, Telematics Connectivity space. . Hands on experience in troubleshooting Cat/ Non CAT machines from Electronics/ Onboard Telematics domain. . Basic knowledge on Digital application working will be desired - Front end, Back end and APIs. . SQL DB queries & Network Communication protocols TCP/IP & SQL queries will be desired.
