You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions using the OnBase enterprise content management platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Your primary focus will be on configuring and customizing the OnBase software to meet the organization's document management, workflow automation, and business process needs.
Key Responsibilities:
System Development:
Designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the OnBase platform to support document management, workflow automation, and other business process requirements.
Customization and Configuration:
Configuring OnBase modules, including document types, keyword fields, forms, workflows, and business rules to meet specific business needs.
Integration:
Integrating OnBase with other systems, such as .NET, CRM, and other Enterprise systems, through various methods such as APIs, web services, and data connectors.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Identifying and resolving technical issues related to OnBase applications, workflows, and integrations, providing end-user support as needed.
Documentation:
Creating technical documentation, including system design, configuration, and deployment guides, to ensure the availability of accurate and up-to date information.
Collaboration:
Working closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful project delivery.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Conducting unit testing, system testing, and integration testing to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of the developed solutions.
Upgrades and Maintenance:
Assisting with system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities, including testing and deployment of new software releases. Knowledge in develop, design, and maintain web applications using .Net MVC/.Net Core/Rest API technologies is a plus. Work in an agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Knowledge/Skills
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge and experience with the OnBase platform, including configuration, custom scripting, and integration development.
Programming Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, SQL, or Java, as well as experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and relational databases.
Workflow Automation:
Familiarity with designing and implementing workflow processes within OnBase using tools like Unity Forms, Workflow Designer, and WorkView.
Problem-Solving Abilities:
Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, troubleshooting and resolving issues effectively.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, document technical specifications, and provide user support.
Attention to Detail:
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all aspects of the job.
Team Player:
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, participating in discussions, sharing knowledge, and contributing to project success.
OnBase Certifications: Possession of OnBase certifications, such as Certified OnBase System Administrator (OCSA) or Certified OnBase Workflow Administrator (OCWA), is a plus.
