Job Title: OMS Intern

Location: Porvorim, Goa

Internship Duration: 5 months



Role Overview



We are looking for a technically inclined OMS Intern to support implementation, configuration, testing, and documentation activities related to Sterling Order Management. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise Order Management Systems used in large-scale retail and supply chain environments.



Key Responsibilities


Assist in understanding IBM OMS architecture, components, and order lifecycles. Support configuration of OMS modules such as Order Capture, Fulfillment, Sourcing, and Returns. Participate in requirement analysis and functional documentation. Assist in system testing (unit testing, SIT, UAT support) and defect tracking. Support integrations with upstream and downstream systems (ERP, WMS, POS, payment gateways). Help monitor OMS transactions, queues, and basic troubleshooting. Prepare KT documents, SOPs, and process flows. Work closely with functional consultants, developers, and QA teams.



Required Qualifications


Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management. Basic understanding of Order Management, e-commerce, or supply chain concepts. Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (basic level). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and documentation abilities. * Willingness to learn enterprise systems and business processes.
