is responsible for the overall operations 8_15 years Experience , maintenance, and performance of the water treatment plant, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. This role involves supervising plant staff, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, optimizing plant efficiency, and ensuring uninterrupted water treatment and supply.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day plant operations including water treatment processes, pumping, and distribution.
Supervise and lead the operations and maintenance team (operators, technicians, engineers).
Monitor process parameters, chemical dosing, SCADA/DCS systems, and plant output.
Ensure adherence to water quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
Coordinate troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
Optimize energy consumption, chemical usage, and process efficiency.
Maintain proper documentation: logbooks, maintenance records, compliance reports, etc.
Manage inventory of critical spares and consumables.
Report operational KPIs, incidents, and improvement plans to senior management.
Conduct safety drills, staff training, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of experience in O&M of water/wastewater treatment plants (WTP, STP, ETP, RO).
Strong knowledge of treatment processes: coagulation, filtration, disinfection, softening, etc.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
