As an O&M Data Analyst, you\'ll be a part of EMBU and will report to O&M Manager
A purpose driven role for you
The O&M MIS Data Analyst will play a crucial role in our Operations and Maintenance department, providing analytical support and insights through the interpretation of data related to maintenance, reliability, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mind set, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.
A Day in the life
Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Develop and maintain data models and databases for efficient data retrieval and reporting. Generate routine and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making processes within the O&M department.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance and operational activities. Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with relevant teams to implement solutions.
Reporting: Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports on a regular basis, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and analyses.
Technology Integration: Stay abreast of technological advancements and assess their applicability to enhance data analytics capabilities within the O&M department. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate and optimize data systems.
Process Improvement: Work closely with O&M teams to identify process inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions for continuous improvement. Support the implementation of process enhancements to streamline operations.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to O&M staff on utilizing data tools and understanding key performance metrics. Act as a resource for troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.
Academic Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills/Knowledge
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, Power BI Python, VBA, G-Suite or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with maintenance information systems (MIS) and related software. Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance principles. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
Behavioural Skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
