to design, develop, and deliver training programs focused on Okta Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Okta products and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, practical learning experiences for technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver instructor-led training sessions (virtual and in-person) on Okta products, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Lifecycle Management, Universal Directory, and API Access Management.
Develop training materials such as presentations, user guides, lab exercises, and e-learning modules.
Conduct knowledge assessments and provide feedback to learners to ensure comprehension and application of concepts.
Partner with internal teams (Product, Engineering, IT Security) to stay updated on new features and updates in Okta.
Customize training content for different audiences (administrators, developers, end-users, and partners).
Provide post-training support and mentorship to learners to reinforce knowledge.
Measure training effectiveness and continuously improve delivery and content.
Maintain certifications and expertise in Okta technologies
Required Qualifications
Proven experience delivering technical training or workshops in identity and access management solutions.
Hands-on experience with
Okta Identity Cloud
(administration, configuration, and troubleshooting).
Strong knowledge of IAM concepts (SSO, MFA, LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, OIDC, OAuth).
Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for varied audiences.
Familiarity with e-learning tools and training delivery platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Okta Certified Professional
and/or
Okta Certified Administrator
certification.
Experience in training enterprise clients, partners, or internal IT/security teams.
Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar) and APIs for identity automation.
Background in IT security, system administration, or cloud technologies (Azure AD, AWS IAM, etc.).
