Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Tech Lead

to join our Chennai Datamark team. This is a dual-role position combining

hands-on software development (60%)

with

leadership responsibilities (40%)

. The Tech Lead will lead a team of 4-5 developers and validation engineers, drive technical excellence, and contribute directly to active development tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership (40%)

Lead, mentor, and guide a team of developers and validation engineers. Conduct sprint planning, reviews, standups, and retrospectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and ensure development best practices. Drive career growth, team performance, and innovation culture.

Hands-on Development (60%)

Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-quality software. Debug and resolve complex technical issues. Participate in architectural decisions and coding standards. Implement CI/CD, testing frameworks, and DevOps best practices. Stay updated with modern technologies and frameworks.

Required Skills

Mandatory (in-depth knowledge - must score high in evaluation):

C# SQL, MySQL JavaScript ReactJS Web API

Preferred:

.NET Core, Python Git, SDLC knowledge, Testing exposure

Good to Have:

PHP (legacy support), Selenium (automation tools), Azure AI Foundry / Amazon Bedrock (LLM implementation)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering (Master's preferred).

5+ years

of software development experience.

2+ years

of proven leadership experience. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred. Strong understanding of microservices, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
