Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for Offshore Instrumentation Engineer with extensive experience in the Offshore oil and gas petrochemical industry. The incumbent should have a sound knowledge of International Codes & Standards and General C&I Engineering.

Skills / Qualifications

• Shall be capable of executing complete C&I scope for project taking full responsibility for budget, quality, safety, and schedule. Shall be a strong team player with capability to guide and lead a team of engineers and designers
• Shall be capable of handling Offshore & Onshore projects.
• Shall be capable of independently delivering C&I project scope for the packages like Compressors, fired Heaters etc;

• Preparation of Instrument Index and I/O list
• Sizing and Selection of suitable instruments based on application requirement. Knowledge on various type of instruments and their application limitation.
• Preparation of Instrumentation data sheet for all type of field instruments, Control valves and actuated on-off valves.
• Preparation of control system vendor scope for modification and upgrade
• Preparation of Material Requisition, Supplier document list
• Evaluation of vendor quotation and preparation of technical bid evaluation and recommend for PO.
• Review of Post order supplier documents and distribute to relevant disciplines to get the IDC and collate and return to supplier and approve the documents on time.
• Liaising with Process, Piping, Structural , electrical and THSE for the required input.
• Guide the designers for the preparation of Instrumentation drawings.
• Prepare and Check all Instrument drawings / documents and ensure that the quality of design and drawings produced for enquiry and fabrication purposes is of satisfactory standard.
• Experience in detailed engineering of offshore brownfield projects
• Coordination with site for site survey to get the required input and resole site queries during construction phase.

Qualification:

BE / BTech with 3+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Industries specifically in offshore and brownfield projects

Proficient & Independent working with SPI / Conval software / vendor sizing software
