Job Description

Job Purpose:

To operate and maintain offset printing machines efficiently, ensuring high-quality output of labels, tags, cards, and other printed materials within deadlines.

MACHINE MODEL - FUJI SINGLE COLOUR OFFSET PRINTING MACHINE

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate offset printing machines (single/multi-color). Adjust machine settings such as ink flow, register, and impression pressure. Read and understand job orders, layouts, and client specifications. Prepare plates, load paper/boards, and ensure proper alignment. Monitor the printing process to ensure color accuracy, print quality, and consistency. Detect and troubleshoot printing issues (smudging, misregister, ink imbalance, etc.). Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of the machine. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machines.

Skills & Competencies Required:

Hands-on experience in operating

Offset Printing Machines

Strong knowledge of color matching, registration, and print finishing. Technical knowledge of pre-press and printing processes. Attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Team player with good communication skills.

Qualification & Experience:

ITI / Diploma in Printing Technology

2-5 years of experience

in offset printing (labels, cards, or packaging industry)
