Job Description

The Offset Minder will be responsible for operating and maintaining offset printing machines to ensure high-quality print output. The role involves preparing printing plates, adjusting machine settings, monitoring production, and ensuring timely completion of printed materials.

Key Responsibilities

Operate offset printing machines (single-color/multi-color) as per job requirements. Prepare printing plates, inks, rollers, and paper for each print job. Set up, adjust, and monitor the machine for accurate color registration and print quality. Conduct test runs and make necessary corrections to ensure high-quality output. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the machine by performing routine maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues during operations. Ensure proper ink density, alignment, and print consistency throughout the job. Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Maintain records of daily production, materials used, and machine performance. Adhere to safety standards and operational procedures within the printing unit.

Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Printing Technology or equivalent qualification. Strong technical knowledge of offset printing processes and machinery. Ability to handle different paper types, inks, and colour matching. Good understanding of machine settings, plate alignment, and print maintenance. Strong attention to detail and quality orientation. Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.

Experience

2-5 years of hands-on experience in operating offset printing machines.
(Experience in educational or commercial printing press is preferred.)

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
