Job Purpose: To ensure the safety and security of designated individuals, premises, and assets by conducting on-ground protection duties. The role involves implementing security strategies, executing operational plans, and responding effectively to emergencies and incidents.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Protection Officer
Strategic Roles and Responsibilities:
Operational Execution: Implement protection strategies and protocols as defined by the Executive Protection Lead.
Vigilance and Observation: Maintain constant vigilance to identify and respond to potential threats or vulnerabilities.
Compliance with Directives: Execute duties in strict adherence to organizational security policies and procedures.
Security Operations:
Patrolling and Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols of the assigned site or residence, ensuring all entry and exit points are secure.
Access Control: Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized individuals are allowed entry.
Surveillance Monitoring: Operate and monitor surveillance systems (e.g., CCTV) to maintain situational awareness and identify anomalies.
Daily Reporting: Document and report routine activities, incidents, or irregularities to the Executive Protection Lead
Security Strategy & Implementation:
Carry out predetermined security protocols, including escorting individuals, monitoring movements, and ensuring safe transportation.
Be ready to execute predefined emergency evacuation or safety protocols at a moment's notice.
Provide inputs to the Executive Protection Lead on potential areas of improvement in security operations or processes.
Crisis & Incident Management:
Respond promptly and decisively to any security breaches, threats, or incidents, minimizing risks to individuals and assets.
Work closely with the Executive Protection Team, local law enforcement, or emergency services during crises.
Prepare detailed reports postincident, outlining actions taken, outcomes, and recommendations for improvement.

*Key Responsibilities of Role

  • Lead the Security operations of the site as per the established operating guidelines, report the performance metrics, and ensure round the clock vigilance and protective monitoring
  • Guide the site team to execute the daily operating responsibilities to achieve the operating objectives of the function as well as the business
  • Understand the strategic objectives of the business and site, and provides operational inputs to be incorporated into the strategy and roadmap
  • Provide inputs for the design of the operating model and the SOPs, to ensure operations processes are incorporated appropriately
  • Review the site operations and suggest process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Process Centre of Excellence
Supervision and review * Oversee the end-to-end operations of the site, ensure adherence to the operating model and SOPs
  • Provide guidance to the team on managing exceptions and report major exceptions to the Site Security Head
  • Periodically submit performance reports to the Site Security Head as per the established performance review guidelines
  • Assist in conducting security awareness programs across sites
Patrolling & Surveillance
  • Conduct patrol of the premises using CCTV internally noting results in the daily occurrence log
  • Oversee the Genetic system to continuously monitor data from CCTVs, sensors and other such automation equipment to deliver continuous surveillance
  • Inspect to ensure that all critical alarms are working in a timely manner
  • Assist in preventing unauthorised access/egress through Service Yards
Man & Vehicle Access Control
  • Continuously monitor the entry/exit points of the facility
  • Oversee the Operations team of Access Control and ensure process adherence; Report deviations to Site head
  • Oversee the issuing and deactivation of access cards for VIP visitors, first-time visitors, government officials via Kiosks, and other applicable system
Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Criminal Justice or related fields is preferred.
Certification:
Certifications such as Basic Security Officer Training (BSOT) or equivalent.
Physical fitness and proficiency in security tools and protocols.
Work Experience (Range of years):
5+ years of experience in security services, law enforcement, or military.
Hands-on experience in surveillance, patrolling, and executing emergency protocols.
