Job Description


The Supply Chain (SC) Sourcing Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participating in procurement activities such as defining the need for goods and services, negotiating price contracts and authorizing payment for goods and services in coordination with the Corporate Services team. The overall objective of this role is to acquire goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the company\'s business. Responsibilities: Experience in Sourcing or procurement in a large, multinational organization Experience in complex deal structuring, negotiations, and contracting Advanced computer skills with a focus on Microsoft excel Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and eProcurement tools (e.g Oracle, Procure to Pay, eAuction, eRFx) Demonstrated strategic sourcing/procurement, stakeholder management, relationship management and influencing skills Thorough understanding of procurement and commercial contracts Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strategic negotiation of hardware, software, licenses, IT services Software License Management and compliance management Negotiation skills and Business knowledge Administration of Contract records, packaging and routing of contract for execution Manages the full contract life cycle, including execution, change management, issue resolution, renewal, and close out Maintains organized records of procurement activities for compliance and record keeping purposes Reviews and processes requisitions of low-med complexity, $ amount, criticality and priority independently, using a variety of procurement methods such as processing change orders, bids and RFPs Collaborates with Business Owners and internal stakeholders to validate SOW content is appropriate and complete Working knowledge of legal terminology and ability to draft basic contracts, negotiate standard form contracts and manage the signature / approval process Participate in sourcing process for the various products and services within the sourcing team Facilitate sourcing process and assist cross-functional team in developing and executing sourcing strategies, supplier management strategies, and contract negotiations including drafting and red-lining contracts Respond to customer service inquiries, clarify requirements, and provide information as needed Utilize Citi tools and processes to research supplier and commodity information as well as work with suppliers to measure and track performance and reporting/reconciliation requirements Participate and assist in the development, management, and analysis of request for proposals and/or eAuctions Meet reporting requirements and audit guidelines ensuring adherence to Citi processes and procedures as well as draft and check the accuracy of reports for the team in support of the senior managers Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency Qualifications: 2-6 years of relevant experience in sourcing/contracting in a fast paced corporate environment, including experience with both domestic and international suppliers Experience in vendor management, contracting, financial acumen, and commercial awareness Prior experience as a Sourcing or category manager Experience with reporting tools preferred Working knowledge of Procurement tools (e.g. Oracle or SAP eSourcing) Demonstrated negotiation strategies Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Excel Education: Bachelor\'s degree/University degree or equivalent experience Masters degree preferred Job Family Group: Corporate Services Job Family: Supply Chain Time Type: Full time Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
