Role Summary



The Purpose of role is to extend testing support related to product integrity initiatives. Support to drive continuous improvements using Integrated management system framework and follow/establish procedures and guidelines to confirm quality of components.


Internal contacts:


Communication: -Intercompany stakeholders, LZAI functions.

External contacts: -




Analytical instruments

service providers, chemical /glassware/utility suppliers.



RESPONSIBILITIES:




Perform QA activities in collaborative way.



Lab study and analytical testing as per defined protocol.



Support for

Calibration

of analytical instruments and

standardization

of volumetric solutions.



Analytical data reporting and product qualification in system.



Support to

IMS initiative

related to reliability, efficiency, product quality, safety and minimize maintenance/operation cost.



Analytical testing

precision performance

monitoring.



Nonconformance

reporting/ management through LZ system.



Own in-house maintenance of

Analytical

instruments

.



Analytical testing support to

customer complaints resolution

.



Responsible for

workplace management

(5S).



Support HSE goals in consistence and accelerating site journey to "Zero Harm - Zero injury",



REQUIREMENTS

(education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):




Required Expertise / Knowledge / Skills




Graduate/Post Graduate in Chemistry from a recognised university.



Minimum 5 years of experience in speciality chemicals industry, preferably in MNC environment.
or

Minimum 3 years of experience, in case of candidate from Automotive lubricating oil/additive industry.


Sound knowledge of analytical testing instruments like GLC, ICP, FTIR, auto titrators and wet analysis. Experience in laboratory blending/synthesis.



Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.



English communication.



Computer -Software skills: - Adequate fluency with MS Office, proficient in SAP QM module or related systems.



Can work in a team, should be flexible to work in shifts.



Execute tasks in consultation with QA team leader.



Exposure to workplace management tools like 5S will be advantage.
