Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE)
The Officer will play a key role in managing international collaborations and academic partnerships for Symbiosis International University (SIU). This role involves coordination, compliance, documentation, and communication related to collaborative programs and global engagement activities of the University.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnerships & Collaborations
Review and process partnership agreements with international universities.
Coordinate with SIU Institutes and University departments for internal academic approvals and compliance related to collaborative programs, including:
Dual Degree Programs
Pathway Programs
Progression Agreements
Liaise with partner universities for potential collaborations and new initiatives.
Facilitate signing of MoUs with international institutions.
Academic Coordination & Compliance
Work with faculty across Institutes for credit mapping of programs with partner universities.
Draft policies, procedures, and compliance documents where necessary.
Coordinate and collate data, documentation, and submissions related to collaborations.
Delegation & Outreach
Facilitate visits of international delegations.
Prepare internal reports, updates, and presentations related to partnerships and visits.
Manage communication channels including:
Monthly newsletter
Social media updates for delegation visits and announcements
News releases
Content for SIU's Undergraduate and Postgraduate prospectuses
Updates on SCIE/SIU website
Research & Analysis
Conduct competitor analysis of Indian universities in the field of international collaborations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Postgraduate degree in Management, International Relations, Education, or a related field (preferred).
2-7 years of relevant experience in international education, academic administration, or partnerships management.
Strong knowledge of higher education systems in India and abroad.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication and drafting skills.
Strong coordination and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and compliance processes.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Analytical skills for competitor benchmarking and policy drafting.
