The Officer - HR & Student Placement Services will play a dual role in managing human resource operations within Technovalley and driving student placement services. The role requires strong coordination with internal teams, industry partners, and academic counsellors to ensure smooth HR practices and successful student career placements.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Responsibilities
Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of staff and faculty.
Maintain HR records, employee files, and handle attendance/leave management systems.
Support performance appraisal cycles, training & development initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment laws, and company regulations.
Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
Placement Services Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with IT companies, corporates, and startups for placement opportunities.
Organize campus drives, job fairs, and recruitment events for Technovalley students.
Coordinate with academic counsellors to track student readiness and placement requirements.
Guide students in resume building, interview preparation, and career counselling.
Maintain placement records, track student progress, and submit periodic reports to management.
Ensure minimum placement targets are met in alignment with Technovalley's commitment to student career success.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Management, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in HR, training & placement, or student career services (freshers with strong drive may also be considered).
Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office tools; familiarity with HRMS/placement software is an advantage.
