The Peon / Office Assistant is responsible for providing basic office support services, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting staff with daily office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Clean office desks, cabins, meeting rooms, and common areas
Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and water to staff and visitors
Maintain pantry cleanliness and stock basic pantry items
Carry files, documents, and parcels within the office
Assist staff with routine office errands and support tasks
Ensure office premises are neat, clean, and organized
Open and close office rooms as instructed
Follow office hygiene and safety standards
Required Skills & Qualities
Basic understanding of office work
Ability to follow instructions
Punctual, honest, and disciplined
Physically fit for routine cleaning and support tasks
Educational Qualification
Basic literacy (reading and writing preferred)
Experience
Fresher or prior experience in office support/housekeeping is an advantage
