Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

General Cleaning and Maintenance:

Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining the cleanliness of office spaces, including tables, chairs, windows, and other fixtures.

Record Keeping and Filing:

Assisting with the physical maintenance of records, filing documents, and organizing paperwork.

Message and Mail Handling:

Delivering messages, papers, and mail within the office or outside, as needed.

Assisting with Office Tasks:

Photocopying, faxing, operating office equipment, and other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Serving Refreshments:

Providing tea, coffee, and water to staff and visitors.

Errands:

Running errands for the office, such as purchasing supplies or delivering documents.

Other Duties:

Assisting with other non-clerical tasks as needed, including setting up conference rooms or event spaces.
Skills and Qualities:

Honesty and Reliability:

Being trustworthy and dependable is crucial for handling sensitive information and carrying out tasks efficiently.

Good Communication Skills:

Effectively communicating with staff and visitors is important for delivering messages and assisting with inquiries.

Organization and Attention to Detail:

Keeping records and office areas organized and ensuring tasks are completed accurately.

Physical Stamina:

Some duties may involve carrying files or materials, requiring a certain level of physical fitness.

Basic Literacy and Numeracy:

Understanding basic office procedures and being able to follow instructions.
