Key responsibilities
Food preparation:
Chop, mix, and measure ingredients according to recipes for various dishes.
Cooking:
Prepare hot and cold menu items by grilling, sauteing, roasting, frying, or other cooking methods.
Quality control:
Ensure food is cooked properly, looks appetizing, and meets company standards for taste and presentation.
Sanitation and safety:
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, follow all food safety guidelines, and store food at proper temperatures.
Inventory management:
Track food supplies, restock kitchen stations, and properly store and rotate stock.
Equipment maintenance:
Properly use, clean, and maintain all kitchen equipment.
Required skills and qualifications
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience:
Some roles may require a high school diploma or equivalent, while culinary school training can be a plus. Previous experience is often preferred.
Physical stamina:
