We are looking for a diligent and reliable Office Boy to provide essential support and assistance in maintaining the smooth running of our office. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, organized, and proactive in performing various administrative and housekeeping tasks. The role is key to ensuring that the workplace remains clean, well-stocked, and operational throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Office Maintenance:
- Keep the office premises clean and organised, including offices, common areas, and restrooms.
- Ensure that meeting rooms are tidy and prepared for use.
- Regularly clean office furniture, equipment, and windows.
Office Supplies:
- Monitor and replenish office supplies, such as stationery, water, and snacks, and notify the relevant person when stocks are running low.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining storage rooms, ensuring all items are kept in proper order.
Serving & Hospitality:
- Serve tea, coffee, and refreshments to employees, guests, and clients as required.
- Set up meeting rooms with required equipment and supplies, ensuring comfort and convenience for all attendees.
Support to Administrative Staff:
- Assist with basic administrative tasks like filing, photocopying, and sorting incoming/outgoing mail.
- Run errands such as picking up office supplies, delivering documents, or handling post office duties.
Support for Office Events:
- Help set up and manage office events, meetings, and company functions, including arranging seating, catering, and ensuring materials are available.
Waste Management
:
- Ensure proper disposal of office waste in designated bins and follow recycling procedures.
Other Ad-Hoc Duties:
- Assist with any other tasks as requested by the office manager or senior staff to support daily office operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience as an office boy or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of office maintenance and cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
