to support daily administrative and clerical operations across university departments. The ideal candidate will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure smooth office functions, manage records, and maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, document preparation, and copying
Handle incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from students, faculty, and visitors
Maintain accurate student and faculty records, files, and databases
Assist in scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating appointments
Support the preparation and distribution of memos, reports, and official correspondence
Manage inventory of office supplies and ensure timely replenishment
Assist in organizing university events, departmental activities, and academic schedules
Help process student forms, registrations, and academic records as needed
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive student and faculty information
Support other administrative staff with tasks as required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or certification in office administration preferred
Prior experience in an academic or office setting is an advantage
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of university ERP systems is a plus
Good organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
Polite, professional, and student-friendly demeanor
