An Office Administrator in a publication house ensures smooth office operations by handling administrative tasks, coordinating with different departments, and supporting editorial, marketing, and sales teams. Key Responsibilities:1. Administrative Support
Manage office supplies, inventory, and procurement.
Handle correspondence, phone calls, and emails.
Maintain records, files, and databases (physical & digital).
Organize meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
2. Coordination & Communication
Act as a liaison between editorial, sales, marketing, and production teams.
Communicate with authors, printers, distributors, and vendors.
Assist in coordinating events, book launches, and promotional activities.
3. Finance & Budgeting
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Assist in budget planning and financial documentation.
Handle petty cash and monitor office expenditures.
4. Human Resource Support
Assist in hiring processes, onboarding new employees, and maintaining HR records.
Manage employee attendance, leaves, and payroll documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
5. IT & Office Maintenance
Oversee office equipment maintenance and IT support coordination.
Ensure software and digital tools are up to date.
Manage office cleanliness and workspace organization.
