STATUS

Full-Time, Salaried; Permanent position after 3-month probation period

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The role is pivotal in overseeing payroll administration, ensuring statutory compliance (including PF & ESIC), formulating HR policies in co-ordination with the Owner as well as Director of Operations, and addressing employee relations and conflict management. The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of HR practices and labor laws along with good interpersonal skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment and Onboarding in collaboration with Director of Operations

Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and job specifications

Manage the full recruitment cycle: job postings, screenings, interviewing and onboarding

Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires including orientation and documentation

Maintaining employee records and updating employee databases
Payroll and Statutory Compliance

Oversee timely and accurate payroll processing

Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements including PF and ESIC staff enrolments

Maintain up-to-date report and handle audits related to payroll and statutory obligations

Policy Formulation and Implementation

Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and organizational goals

Communicate policies effectively to all employees and ensure consistent application across the organization

Designing & implementing the performance management system, ensuring it aligns with company goals and legal compliance

Employee Relations and Conflict Management

Serve as a point of contact for employee queries related to policies

Conduct investigation into employee complaints and recommend appropriate actions

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

6 months to 1 year experience in managing payroll, PF & ESIC & employee relationship, preferably in Hospitality sector

Fresher having basic knowledge in Payroll can also apply.

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity

Basic knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance

Must be able to work on weekends and six days a week

Need to focus on all our outlets across Kolkata

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
