We are a dynamic and fast-growing firm engaged in Civil Engineering and Architectural Consultancy. With a team of passionate professionals, we are looking for a smart, reliable, and detail-oriented Accountant to take charge of our financial operations, office administration, and vendor coordination activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions using Tally ERP9 / Tally Prime
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including timely vendor payments and follow-ups
Maintain accurate records of staff attendance and office-related documentation
Handle GST, TDS, and other tax-related compliances
Manage bank reconciliations, petty cash, invoice processing, and related documentation
Organize and maintain filing systems and financial records
Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations of the office
Handle vendor communication, coordination, and relationship management
Facilitate effective communication between internal departments and external agencies
Draft professional emails, letters, and basic HR/administrative correspondence
Coordinate with the CA firm for audits, statutory filings, and taxation matters
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial closings
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss accounts
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting and office administration
Experience working with a CA firm will be an added advantage
Proficient in Tally ERP9 / Tally Prime, MS Excel, and MS Word
Solid understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements
Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills:
Experience in vendor management, office coordination, and general back-office support
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi/Odia
A professional attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset
