The OET (Pharmacy) Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality training in
Writing and Speaking modules
specific to the Pharmacy profession. The trainer will guide students to achieve their desired scores by improving their workplace communication skills and ensuring they understand OET exam standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery
Conduct classroom/online training sessions for
OET Pharmacy Writing & Speaking
modules.
Teach students how to handle profession-specific tasks including
referral letters, consultation notes, discharge summaries, and pharmacy interactions
.
Train learners to communicate effectively in pharmacy-related speaking role-plays.
2. Lesson Planning & Content Development
Prepare lesson plans, study materials, practice tasks, and mock tests based on OET standards.
Customize training based on student performance and learning needs.
Develop pharmacy-specific writing samples, vocabulary lists, and role-play scenarios.
3. Student Assessment
Conduct periodic assessments, speaking evaluations, writing corrections, and feedback sessions.
Track student progress and maintain performance reports.
4. Exam Preparation Support
Provide strategies for time management, structuring referral letters, improving coherence, clarity, tone, and accuracy.
Conduct mock speaking tests replicating real OET Pharmacy scenarios.
Help students understand exam patterns, scoring criteria, and frequent mistakes.
5. Academic Coordination
Work with the training coordinator to schedule classes and maintain batch reports.
Support students with doubts, remedial sessions, and extra practice whenever required.
Participate in academic meetings, training workshops, and faculty development programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Pharmacy / Nursing / Healthcare
preferred.
Minimum
2 years of experience
in OET training or pharmacy-related communication work.
Strong knowledge of OET exam format, assessment criteria, and Pharmacy-specific tasks.
Excellent command over English (C1 level preferred).
Ability to provide clear, structured, and constructive feedback.
Good classroom management and student engagement skills.
Experience in online training platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, LMS) is an advantage.
