Job Description

The ideal candidate will deliver top-tier training to healthcare professionals preparing for the Occupational English Test (OET). This includes developing course content, conducting assessments, and delivering both online and classroom-based instruction across all four OET modules--Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certification

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a healthcare-related field. CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, or OET Trainer Certification preferred.

Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an OET trainer, English instructor, or related teaching role. Experience training healthcare professionals is an advantage. Qualified nurses with English training experience will be considered.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with digital learning platforms and instructional technology. Familiarity with OET-specific training tools and delivery platforms.

Soft Skills

Excellent verbal and written English communication. Strong public speaking and presentation skills. Organizational and project management ability. Effective mentoring and leadership qualities. A positive, motivating, and encouraging approach toward candidates.

Additional Responsibilities

Identify language proficiency gaps and provide targeted support. Plan and manage training schedules, enrollment, and associated logistics. Liaise with third-party vendors for learning technology needs. Analyze training effectiveness and adjust methods accordingly.
