Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused
Odoo Presales Consultant
to support our sales and business development teams in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in understanding client requirements, designing Odoo-based solutions, delivering product demonstrations, and supporting proposal and bid management activities. This role bridges business needs and technical capabilities to drive successful deal closures.
Key Responsibilities
Support the
sales cycle
by providing functional and solution-level expertise on Odoo ERP.
Engage with prospective clients to understand business processes, challenges, and requirements.
Conduct
Odoo product demonstrations
, workshops, and proof-of-concepts tailored to client needs.
Map customer requirements to
Odoo standard modules
such as Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, and Manufacturing.
Prepare
presales documentation
including solution proposals, scope of work, estimations, and presentations.
Collaborate with sales, functional, and technical teams to design optimal and scalable solutions.
Assist in responding to
RFPs, RFQs, and tenders
.
Provide high-level effort estimation, implementation approach, and timelines.
Support pricing strategy and value proposition articulation.
Functional & Technical Knowledge
Strong functional understanding of
Odoo ERP modules
and business workflows.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Basic understanding of
Odoo integrations, APIs, and customization capabilities
.
Familiarity with reporting, dashboards, and QWeb reporting concepts.
Knowledge of ERP best practices, implementation methodologies, and business process re-engineering.
Strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Stakeholder & Client Management
Act as a trusted solution advisor during client interactions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders.
Support channel partners and alliances where applicable.
Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure smooth handover post-deal closure.
