Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented

Odoo Functional Consultant

to lead and support end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to understand business requirements, map them to Odoo standard functionalities, and ensure successful solution delivery. This role involves functional analysis, configuration, user training, documentation, and coordination with technical teams.

Job Responsibilities

Manage the

full project lifecycle

, from requirement gathering to deployment and post-go-live support. Analyze client business processes and translate them into effective Odoo functional solutions. Strong hands-on knowledge of Odoo standard modules such as

Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, and Human Resources

. Configure Odoo modules as per business needs with minimal customization. Prepare

functional requirement documents (FRD)

, process flows, and user guides. Coordinate with technical teams for custom developments, integrations, and reports. Support

UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

, user training, and change management activities. Assist clients during implementation, upgrades, and ongoing support engagements. Ensure solutions align with best practices and business objectives.
Functional & Process Expertise

Good understanding of

Odoo framework and workflows

from a functional perspective. Basic knowledge of

Odoo APIs and system integrations

to support functional discussions. Experience working with

QWeb reports

and functional reporting requirements. Familiarity with

PostgreSQL

concepts to support functional data validation. Knowledge of version control tools (Git/GitHub) for coordination with development teams. Strong logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Process & Quality Management

Ensure defined processes are followed for documentation, change requests, and issue tracking. Participate in establishing and adhering to

QA and testing processes

. Support incident, bug tracking, and resolution processes. Ensure proper documentation for projects and deliverables.
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery. Support knowledge sharing and skill development within the team. Assist in client relationship management and ongoing engagement support. Support business requirement discussions and stakeholder presentations.
Other Requirements

Strong interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to meet project timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. Comfortable working independently as well as in cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel (domestic/international) as required (up to 50%).
