Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
Develop personalized treatment plans to improve or restore daily living and work skills.
Provide therapy to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques to support recovery at home.
Collaborate closely with doctors, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and nursing teams to provide comprehensive care.
Recommend adaptive equipment and train patients in its use.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as per hospital standards.
Participate in case discussions, audits, and rehabilitation planning meetings.
Stay updated on best practices, techniques, and protocols in occupational therapy.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT / MOT) from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the relevant state or national occupational therapy council.
0 to 5 years of relevant experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy, patience, and a problem-solving attitude.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
