What We Look For
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled
Occupational Therapist
to join our team--someone passionate about helping children achieve functional, sensory, and developmental milestones.
A therapist who is empathetic, patient, and child-friendly, with strong observation and communication skills. A team player who can collaborate with Physiotherapist, Psychologists, Speech Therapists, Special Educators, and families. Roles & ResponsibilitiesAssessment & Diagnosis
Conduct comprehensive assessments of fine motor skills, sensory processing, balance, coordination, handwriting, ADLs play and functional skills
Diagnose sensory, motor, and developmental delays and document findings in detailed assessment reports.
Use standardized tools, observational methods, and parent interviews to understand each child's functional needs.
Therapy & Intervention
Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's specific goals using neuro affirming approaches
Provide evidence-based OT interventions focusing on sensory integration, fine motor development, handwriting, motor planning, ADLs and play skills
Support children with self-regulation, attention, behaviour management, and functional independence.Recommend adaptive tools, sensory diets, and intervention strategies where appropriate.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with parents, caregivers, and educators to support therapy goals.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (speech therapists, psychologists, special educators, etc.) for holistic child development.
Participate in team meetings to discuss child progress and adjust treatment plans.
Provide training, home-based activities, and sensory strategies for families and teachers.
Monitoring & Documentation
Regularly monitor and document child progress.
Update therapy plans based on progress and developmental changes.
Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely therapy notes and clinical records.
Prepare progress reports for parents, schools, or healthcare professionals.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor/Master in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT) -
mandatory
Certification:
Valid license/registration with AIOTA
Experience:
0-5 years of experience; freshers are welcome
Languages:
Proficiency in
English
is a must; Hindi or Telugu is an added advantage.
