Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Paediatric

Sattvanubhava - Child Therapy & Development Centre, Solapur

Salary Range:

?10,573 - ?12,753 per month

Role Objective

To provide paediatric occupational therapy services focused on fine motor development, sensory processing, gross motor skills, handwriting readiness, self-regulation, and daily living skills while working closely with families and multidisciplinary team members.

Key Responsibilities1. Clinical/Assessment Responsibilities

Conduct developmental and functional assessments Identify sensory integration needs Prepare baseline assessment reports Determine therapy goals based on milestones
Examples of assessments:
-Sensory profile / observation
-Fine motor assessment checklists
-Functional play and social readiness assessment

2. Therapy Responsibilities

Conduct structured OT sessions (30-45 minutes) Provide sensory, fine-motor, and motor-planning activities Modify tasks for child participation Work on: Lower/upper limb coordination Grasp patterns Pencil grasp & handwriting Scissor skills Postural control ADLs (feeding, dressing, toileting readiness) Attention & task completion

3. Documentation & Records

Maintain daily session notes Prepare monthly progress updates Document home programs given Track goal achievement

4. Parent Communication

Explain goals and outcomes clearly Provide weekly guidance Share do-at-home recommendations Maintain professional boundaries

5. Centre & Team Coordination

Collaborate with speech therapists, educators, psychologists Participate in case discussions Support readiness programs Maintain centre hygiene and equipment safety
Skills Required

? Understanding of sensory integration
? Knowledge of developmental milestones
? Behaviour management & emotional regulation strategies
? High patience & empathy
? Good child engagement ability
? Basic report writing
? Strong professionalism & communication

Educational Qualifications

Must have ANY ONE of the following:

B.OTh / BOT or M.OTh / MOT

(Paediatrics preferred)

B.A Psych. , M.A psych; Or any relevant degree
Internship/completed training in paediatric setup is an advantage

Freshers can apply if confident with paediatric handling.

Work Schedule

Monday - Saturday
10:30 AM - 6:30 PM
(With structured therapy slots, daily)
