Job Description

Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) /Bachelor of Occupational Therapy(optional for specialization)

The aim of occupational therapy (OT) is to help children develop the skills they need to succeed in an educational environment.

Specific areas of focus for pediatric occupational therapists may include:

Feeding difficulties:

Helping children with oral motor skills to improve feeding independence.

Self-care skills:

Assisting with activities like dressing, toileting, and hygiene routines.

Fine motor skills:

Addressing issues with hand manipulation, grasping, and writing skills.

Sensory processing challenges:

Implementing sensory integration therapy to regulate sensory input

Play skills:
