Assess patients' physical, emotional, developmental, and psychological condition.
Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
Provide therapy to improve patients' abilities in daily living activities (ADLs) like dressing, grooming, and eating.
Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment like wheelchairs, splints, or dressing aids.
Monitor and document progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Educate patients' families and caregivers about care plans and how to support recovery at home.
Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely records and reports as per regulatory guidelines.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and patient care planning.
Stay updated with developments in occupational therapy and rehabilitation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
Registered with relevant Occupational Therapy Council or licensing board.
Minimum 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred (fresher may be considered).
Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work empathetically and patiently with individuals with varying disabilities.
